Located in the side of the castle in New Granseal, this is the substitute for the HQ you found in every town in Shining Force 1.
Since there's no real end point for this short update, I'll give you all a tour of tactical base: However, Frayja did finally pick up Aura 3, making him my most valuable character. It's standard protocol of controlling heavy terrain, not exposing squishies, and making good use of Boost and Slow. Since this was a filler battle, there's really not much to say about this fight. On a related note, the master monk dodge animation looks silly too.ĭo you know how sad it is that Blast 4 is a more reliable source of damage for Skreech than his normal attack is? The white dragon dodge animation looks silly. Everything about this hack just screams unreasonable, yet it doesn't feel all that unfair in the big picture. Just wanted to make note that Zynk was boosted and standing in 30% terrain during this hit. Minotaurs don't hit too hard anymore and white dragons are made out of paper mache. Those units start right next to you, though the cyclops is the only legitimate threat. One of the few fights that kicks you into the action right away. This fight is fairly easy, and on a small map too. Not much new to see here, In fact, cerberi and minotaurs return and are of minimal threat by now. Too bad none of them have unique sprites. Apparently Odd Eye is the only remaining greater devil, so all the other guys are now scrambling to fill in the vacancies. There's a rom hack that fixes this bug, but I was too lazy and drunk to find it.Īnd if we walk south, we just get a filler fight. And equipping the Dark Sword isn't worth it, because cursed items are useless. I wanted to do this, but there's a weird glitch with Lemon that only exists in emulators.Įquipping Lemon with any weapon other than the Dark Sword causes Lemon to bug, and he won't equip it.
